Join Camille Deitz, LCPC and Somatic Experiencing Practioner in being able to:
Recognize signs that someone may be experiencing domestic violence.
Identify the core principles of Polyvagal Theory including neuroception, autonomic hierarchy, and co-regulation with specific considerations for people that have experienced domestic violence and/or relational trauma.
Recognize common autonomic responses and specific considerations when working with people that have experienced domestic violence and/or relational trauma.
Apply strategies from a Polyvagal lens to support regulation and co-regulation with people that have experienced domestic violence and/or relational trauma.
Learn somatic practices for providers to reduce vicarious trauma and maintain presence in high-stress advocacy or therapeutic settings.
